What is a vehicle wrap?

A vehicle wrap is a vinyl film that is printed and then adhered to a car, van, truck, trailer, boat, RV or any other vehicle. It is typically used as a form of advertising, but is also used just to make vehicles look cool.

What is the difference between a wrap and a decal?

Depending on who you talk to, there is no difference. Wraps are printed in wide panels and cover entire large areas of a vehicle. Decals are smaller graphics that are printed and cut out. Some people place decals over the entire body of a vehicle to get a similar look to a wrap with a slight cost savings. Decals and partial wraps are often used on the same vehicle.

Will a vehicle wrap damage my paint job?

Typically, no. Vehicle wraps with high-quality materials that are installed over paint that is in good condition can typically be removed five years later with no damage to the paint. The adhesive on wraps that are not well maintained, or are left on the vehicle for many years, will become brittle and can damage paint when removing the wrap.

How much does a vehicle wrap cost?

The cost of a vehicle wrap varies based on several factors including design time, total print and coverage area, the quality of material used, and the complexity of installation. We will quote each project individually. If you are looking to save costs on a wrap, avoid purchasing a vehicle with complex curves, or consider doing a ¾ wrap, half wrap, or partial wrap.

Is a vehicle wrap worth the expense?

As with any form of advertising, this depends on your objective, and target market. Studies have shown that vehicle wraps will give you a lower cost per impression than any traditional form of advertising. This means you will reach more people for every dollar spent than choosing to advertise with a magazine, radio station, TV program, or newspaper. If your vehicles will be in places where your target market can see them, then vehicle wraps are a great investment. Vehicle wraps also enhance the look of any vehicle fleet in a way that can leave a great impression on your customers.

What are some benefits to wrapping vehicles that most people don’t think about?

The primary driver of wrapping vehicles is to drive new business, but there are several unintended yet positive consequences of wrapping your fleet.
